Guide to Pumpkin Picking:
-
GO: Walk or take the hayride into The Farmstead's Pumpkin Patch. TIP: If you're walking, grab a wagon to help haul your pumpkins out!
-
SEARCH: Find your perfect pumpkins! Take some time to explore all the quality varieties of pumpkins we have to offer. TIP: The Farmstead plants many varieties (many of our favorites listed below). We know that you'll find just what you're looking for!
-
PICK: Pick your pumpkin off the vine. Careful not to damage the stem! TIP: Find the joint where the stem turns to vine. Bending the vine at this weak spot is the best way to disconnect the stem from the vine.
-
HAUL: Bring your pumpkin to the Scale House near the exit to be weighed. Pay per pound at the Exit Booth. TIP: If you have a wagon, wheel it onto the scale and we will subtract its weight from the total!
